Fun Facts!

• Tiger cubs leave their mother when they are around 2 years of age.
• Cubs weigh approximately two pounds when they are born. 
• They are blind and utterly dependent on their mother for food and protection
• The cubs cannot hunt on their own until they are approximately one and a half years old.
• The mother tiger often cannot find enough food to feed all of its cubs. Because of this, usually only two of the cubs in the litter survive to adulthood.
